Very different mentality. Asia especially Japan generally do not like to stick out like a sore thumb. So people go out of their way to not be an inconvenience to others around them. No matter if it's revving hard for the noise or going at a high speed. It's about the community and others around you rather than what you want. Self satisfaction often comes as second priority. Whereas generally the west is about promoting individualism and "I don't give a fuck what others think. I will do what I damn well like". But this whole "community comes first" mentality is also what contributes to Japan being one of the safest countries in the world with very low Bike accident rates as well as crime rates in general.

@jaychan2628 i wont disagree. But my point here is not about revving it hard to make some noise or going unnecesarilly fast, but just give it the proper handle. Giving a 600cc supersport a stable 3-4k rpm at 4-5 gear is an unstated crime. Fast doesnt always mean irresponsibly fast, a proper rider always know when and where to do things accordingly.

Yes i think most new Hondas are coming with permanent turn signals, likely for added visibility, i have seen Xadvs and CBR650 with that feature too.
