Hey Tac, I really have to say, I love all the videos and reviews you post. They are always a delight to watch and I am a sucker for blades and other weapons/ tools for sheer fact that they are so much fun to play with. The only piece that would be really cool to see you review would be the Condor Discord Machete. Out of all the swords and other assorted blades I've owned, I've always really clung to machetes due to minimal maintenance as well as easy to sharpen and use... Like I said, I think you would give an honest review of the discord, and it would really be cool to see what your impression of it will be. Keep doing what you're doing and. Ever stop being awesome, brother -Royal Renegade

I have the same knife, had it for a very long time. only thing i don't like is the sheath, but overall its a good knife, the blade steel holds up nicely. i don't use it much that's why its still in really good condition. wonder why SOG discontinued it?

I almost got one of those, but got the OKC SP-50 Gen 2. 5160 full flat grind. Man, it's a chopper. I don't take my SOG Tac Tomahawk with me anymore. Got a kydex sheath. Big, but cool and one beast of a tool with a great grip. But that Tigershark is beautiful.

I pressure fitted a rubber bike handle on my sog Tiger Shark and it look awesome. The rubber handle also gives more length to the handle, which i think is to short. I dont like that zytle shit feels like sandpaper but it is tough as hell.

Wow, I was just thinking about asking you if you'd consider testing this blade! I got one after watching your review of yours, except mine is the TE-01 (grey powder coat & NO spine rasping) while yours is the TE-02 (black TiNi coating & spine rasping). Glad to see that it didn't break, they weren't cheap money. I do like the handle of the original Tigershark (model S5), it's Kraton and not Zytel like this and the rest of the SOG "SEAL" line of knives. This blade would make for a great pig sticker though! High-five, playboy!

yo, TAC. Since you've had the knife apart to take that guard off, what's the tang like? Since you can take the pommel off, I would've guessed just a piece of threaded rod, which would suck, but the positions n of the lanyard hole makes me think again.

Ive read that they put serrations and chisel grinds on the left handed side most often so that when the user holds the knife they can "see" them...fashion over function, its kindda stupid if you ask me...or any real user. Ive also found that there is a lot to be said for serrations at the tip instead of the but like what Victorinox does.

Tac you were very unfair to that that knife, shouldn't a fighting knife be tested in fighting ability and not survival ability? In spite of it that knife came out like a champ performing all the tasks it WERE NOT DEsigned for, that's a sign of a great knife , that Cherry wood was murder on that knife yet it did not fail. So it was only AUS8 so what ? AUS8 is a far superior steel to what your favorite makers use- 1095 TAC i believe you owe that knife an apology bud.

Good review! I'll pass on collecting. Nice sexy blade geometry but it's not strictly a class 'A' fighter, not a Bowie, not a survival blade...so what is it? All round utility!...maybe! A fighting knife needs good balance, needs to be shorter and lighter so it's faster in the hand in close up one onto one CQB is why I opinionate it's not really a good all round fighter.
