thanks for the tip. i had one of these wraps on a knife for years and took it off to treat the handle. realised i forgot how to do it so your vid was a good brush up. i added a ranger band on the bottom of the wrap to keep it snug in place.

Even easier than it looks. You don't have to cut the paracord to length until you have wrapped it up, so there is no wastage.

I did this about two years ago when I bought Mrs. Firemano & myself those SOG Fast Hawks, then I used the tube from a racing bike to go over that for extra protection. Thanks for the video Bro!

Did this but hated the feel when choking up. Removed the para cord, ended up putting a double layer of bicycle tubing on. Took major effort but works perfectly.

Hey Tac, nice down and dirty tutorial! I personally take an inner strand of the 550 which I always save, and use those to pull through. Just leave it long, wrap it around a knife handle or something and pull. Also I like the strider knot/ cobra stitch wrap, coz when it opens it does not come all undone coz of friction. Also you can bulk up an area that way if you wanted, like a more hand filling wrap or one that offers more protection. All a matter of taste and preference, like so much stuff. Your way will work just fine andlike your lanyard vid it will help out someone. Greetings to you and Ms Tac and Bush! Soly
