Firstly, I apologize for the rant that's sure to follow, but your comment just really touched a nerve. Though i certainly like evenly matched fights, the fact of the matter is Deathstroke is literally a super-human while Batman has no enhanced strength, speed, or toughness which means that Deathstroke should without question win every single fair fight between the two. And not just win it, but absolutely dominate him in much of the same way Bane did in his first fight with Batman in the third Dark Knight film. And actually does hold true most of the time in the comics, Batman rarely ever beats Slade and when he ever does - it's almost always because of one or even a number of specific unique variables that give Batman the upper hand. Even though i enjoy comic-book, or well - certain comic-books/characters, what's always kept me from ever becoming a huge reader of comics in general is the fact that you constantly see super heroes go up against super-villains who have superior abilities when compared to the hero, (both physical and in terms of their super-powers or enhancements), and/or are armed with lethal weapons that when combined, mean that the hero simply shouldn't stand a chance - and yet they stupidly end up defeating them. A lot of times it's due to some random ex-machina or some circumstantial gimmick that allows the good guy to come out on top. But, in plenty of others, (like this fight right here in this clip for example), where the hero pulls off something that in universe - should be not only highly improbable, but downright impossible. When this happens it really breaks the immersion and feels lazy to me. They have the villains just dominate everyone else, but when they finally go up against the main-character super-hero who is greatly outmatched by said villain, they just nerf the shit outa them to allow the good guy to prevail. I also despise how when villains are armed with either lethal super-powers or lethal weapons, but are so incompetent when using them that they never actually hit the super-hero or even more idiotic, when they do - for some reason this lethal power/weapon, (like lasers that can cut through buildings for example), merely hurts them. Obviously Im well aware that these are made for kids and that you can't have your main-characters/heroes get killed off by super-villains. That said, if your gonna have the super-hero, who is greatly outmatched, somehow defeat the villain - than have multiple heroes show up to aid them, or have some sort of gimmick at least to explaining how it's possible. Or here's another way to avoid this sort of shit, don't have your heroes go up against super-villains who are far more powerful in the first place. But the best thing to do is to simply have the super-villain win, but because of one reason or another he decides to spare the life of the hero. Best example of somethin like this was in the one Nightwing fan-made series, where it's a relatively well-fought bout, but because Deathstroke is simply too strong, too fast, too well trained, and too tough - that he eventually beats the living shit outa Nightwing. But then decides to not finish him off completely. That's exactly how thi fight should have gone. This one is definitely far better choreographed and also better filmed imo, but the notion that Batman would be able to hang with Slade for this long and actually winning the fight is completely stupid. As much as i like Batman - he just doesn't stand a chance against a full strength Deathstroke.

If there is ever a Batman vs Deathstroke movie, Batman will win obviously, but they would have to make Batman win using his surroundings. Straight up Batman v Deathstroke hand to hand wouldn't work. (Well according to this video it does... But...) Like you said, they are equally matched. If I directed the Batfleck movie I would make Batman and Deathstroke be fighting in the inside of the Batcave. Batman would use the gadgets around him to help defeat Deathstroke. Hell, maybe he uses a vile of venom. That could set up Bane. When all hope is lost, he abandons the no killing rule (He would have character development after killing some random villain that was good to the public eye idk) and blows up the entire Batcave, killing Deathstroke and severely injuring Bruce. The movie ends with Bruce tending to his wounds, with nobody to go to since Alfred is dead because I just decided that should happen. The End. Oh wait what's that? Deathstroke is supposed to be in Justice League 2 and 3? Oh, well there's a post credit scene showing him getting cybernetic parts from Lex. The End.

The choreography is so stunning and I notice that both characters do moves similar to the ones they used in both their debuts, like Deathstroke in Arkham Origins with the 360 Katana slashes and Batman from Dawn of Justice with his back kicks. this was actually really impressive, the only thing i could suggest is speeding up certain sequences like the dramatic pauses when they would look at each other mid fight, and maybe more intense sound effects. otherwise this would be like Snyder level material keep it up!

This is easily one of the top 2 or three most badass fan-made short-film action scenes I've ever seen, not just comic-book ones! However, There's no way on Earth that Batman should be able to defeat Slade - none whatsoever. In the comics, most of the time Deathstroke actually wins when they face off, and most of the time of the examples where Batman got the better of Slade - it was due to some sort of lucky turn of events that gave him the upper hand. This is one my biggest pet peeves with comic-book super-hero's, they don't think of the ramifications of creating villains who have abilities that should absolutely dominate someone like Batman. So when the hero fights said villain, they have to nerf the fuck outa the villain to give a character like Batman or Robin have a chance at defeating them. Yes Batman is super strong, super-athletic, peak conditioning, and ridiculously well trained - but he's still at the end of the day a non-powered/gifted human, where as Deathstroke is an even better trained, equally if not more experienced, use weapons, but above all - he's a genetically-enhanced super-human for fuck's sake! This, and many other fights between the two where Batman some how defeats Slade, is more like if these two were facing off while Slade hasn't received that enhancement serum. Because that's just how badass Deathstroke would be even without super strength, speed, and athleticism, he'd still be capable of hanging with Batman. So if Deathstroke were to add to his already top tier skill and strength - and give him an enhancement serum, he should wipe the floor with Batman. And to those saying, "well he can't kill Batman because he's the main character protagonist", well then, if you wanna have hi win, than the creators shouldn't have created a villain for Batman to take on who happens to have some sort of power/gifts that should make them way outa Batman's league. But regardless of my nit-picks - this was an awesome fan short film fight-scene! And sorry for the rant, it's just somethin that has always bugged me.

Thanks for watching and commenting! For the sake of discourse, are you saying you prefer protagonists who are stronger than the villain because that way it “makes more sense” that they would win? Do you not feel it’s more interesting to see an underdog protagonist beat a more powerful enemy who SHOULD win but doesn’t because the protagonist overcomes the odds? We made the video the way we did (we consider it a tie. Batman is there to apprehend deathstroke. He is winning the fight in the end, but ultimately deathstroke escapes and Batman fails to capture him) to show that Batman’s preparation and skill is enough to make him a match for the super soldier deathstroke. I’m not sure which comics you’re referring to in which deathstroke beats Batman. But I’ve seen plenty where Batman wins or it’s a draw. Since deathstroke is a contract killer it seems like deathstroke winning = dead Batman but I could be wrong! I’m curious what comics you’re referencing. Anyways, we appreciate the comment! We hope to make a solo deathstroke short in the future where he’s merc’in everyone!

And yeah no it's not that im opposed the under-dogs winning - not at all. But plot armor annoys the hell out of me, when you have a guys who's literal "power/gift/ability" is that not only is he a highly trained solder/assassin, but he got an enhancement serum, akin to Captain America from Marvel for example. Batman's strong, yes, and a great fighter - true, but he isn't enhanced in any way and te idea of him overpowering or beating up a super soldier just doesn't make sense. Like if Batman found a way to decrease Slade's literal super-human strength, or set a trap, and/or take him on along side Nightwing or something - then yeah, then that'd make complete sense. But in a one on one hand to hand fight, it shouldn't be possible. This goes for Bane as well. Im not complaining bout this cuz it's a unique situation either, you see this all the time in comics, where the villains demonstrate ridiculous powers or abilities, and yet when they meet in the climactic battle, it's as if the baddie has been nerfed with no explanation of how or why. choreography
