There was a similar story done in 1956 on the CBS Radio series ROMANCE. It was called 'The Indian Sign'. It was about the young Indian maiden who sold Manhattan Island to the European explorers for $24 in trinkets. As punishment, the chief cursed her to remain Earthbound until her ghost was able to reclaim Manhattan Island for the Indians.

I want to thank you for your uploads. Years ago I to use to in the backcountry of Idaho (70 miles from the nearest town) and all we had was AM radio for entertainment. I still enjoy the Theater of the Mind!

"and my doctorate at the Sorbonne" - the first part was clever - but i found the main story tiresome - naive heiress meets oily go-getter - funny how "millions" no longer seems so large

Among the various radio shows I found were two BBC adaptations of The War Of The Worlds. If you'd like, I'll point you in the right direction and pray they're still up.

I had forgotten Parley Baer was the voice of one of those Keebler elves. (He was Chester in radio Gunsmoke and one of Joe Friday's partners in Dragnet).

I got a new smartphone earlier this month and it has "unlimited" high-speed internet, so I've been overdosing on various audiobooks and radio shows on KZbin. Also, I managed to watch the series finale of Star Wars: Rebels and it goes without saying that I wasn't disappointed.

Now I don't have to feel bad when I post an episode with some animation and use up all your data time!

When greed, egomania, lunacy & thirst for power mix together.... Humorous & too close to reality

I fell asleep listening to the beginning, but the last several minutes (at least) was CBS Radio News coverage of the Iran Contra situation

Just a humorous tale, but the lands of Spanish territories in 1803 wouldn’t fall under this treaty. I know! I know! Relax it’s just a story. But my history buff side is bothered by it.
