It’s funny, the blackmailer is doing to the insurance agent exactly like the insurance companies do to all of us! I’d say the insurance companies are all legal blackmailers!

If I were to spill the beans about the group murder, I would not have told the killers.

Watching from NY on 9/12/22. Love that Paul Hecht. Especially the one where he was a psychotic killer in a lodge during a snow storm & a married couple are forced to stay with him. Also Himan Brown directed over 30,000 of these. Amazing. Love them 😁

He should have told the truth from the "BEGINNING" and let the chips fall where they may.

One of the better episodes. Too many end with happy endings, and I prefer darker endings sometimes because, frankly, they are more realistic. I find the earliest CBS RMT episodes to the best written overall, and this was the 47th of the nearly 3,000 episodes broadcast. (Originally broadcast 28 February 1974.) It was written by Henry Slesar, who had a prolific career in New York City in advertising, copywriting, television screenwriting, short stories for publication and even a few novels. He died in 2002 at age 75.
