This is different one, a bit of a departure from Elspeth Eric's usual, but one of the most famous and requested. Putting in another plug for the October issue paper written about the series for listeners who may not have heard, available for free at the International Journal of Innovative Science and Research Technology site, entitled: Drama as an Aid in Academic Learning and Creative Writing : The CBS Radio Mystery Theater. It was great that something was written recently about this series which gave us all so much.

Hi Lynn!!! It's been really cold here in Northern California. I just recently bought a couple of winter jackets and gloves to keep myself warm. Smokey 😺 is sleeping in my favorite chair. He's absolutely a loving and faithful pet. I hope that you and your family are doing well. Tonight's story is a good one!!! Goodnight and sleep well from Gemi and Smokey 😺❤️😊

12-11-24 Listening from Southern Ontario, Canada, 43* N. This story sounds delicious !! Love the story! Reminds me of “The Barber of Seville” (opera). All tucked up warmly, cats as well ! Hope everyone has a very good evening ! May all sleep well and have sweet dreams - soon we will be dreaming of “sugarplums” ! Even with the cold temps, we still have green plants still alive, I don’t know how ! I’ve taken pictures so I can believe it !! 😊 Be kind, be safe, and know that you are appreciated, everyone ! Hope you are feeling better! We’ve got red squirrels, gray and black ones - it’s a freakin’ free for all ! I really love the small red squirrels. They all come running at feeding time every late afternoon. The red ones will come up to a foot away, or so! We also have grey squirrels that every once in awhile bear whir squirrels, and then mutations also show up in the grey ones, sometimes grey ones with white ears, that sort of thing. Out two indoor cats live to watch them on the deck ! We don’t have problems with the squirrels earring the bird food, but raccoons do, and we’ve even bought those feeders that have a special baffle - the raccoons broke one of those! Take care and keep warm !🙏❤🫠
