Wow just wow. I love these episodes that contain life lessons. At some point in all of our lives we are that bird flying backwards in some ways listening to these stories , wanting life to be as it was then , but knowing full well we should cherish right now. Life is to short to look back. Thanks for sharing these.

I was on a flight to Brunswick Georgia . It was a 30 seater . I had a widow seat right next to the wing . It had been a while since we took off and i was looking out the window .I turned to my friend I was going on holiday with and said, "look the wing is coved with oil ." Just then the pilot came on and said, " we are not going to make it, we have to turn around and go back ." When everyone was off the plane and safely inside, the engine exploded .

The adage is not a truism as conceived by many, 'The exception proves the rule' We dont use the word "prove" in the sense it was used when this phrase originated. In the archaic sense, the same word would apply in 'battle proves the mettle of a man', in other words battle _tests_ it. Taken as we use the word "proves" we'd say, 'The exception _disproves_ the rule.'

She says I am a women and I not stop working to have children. I a man and you would not have to ask me twice to stop working. I can't understand any person living to go to work unless perhaps if it was your own business. 95 % of German women choose to stay at home and look after the children and receive the equivalent of the minimum wage through tax breaks to do so. I tell my two daughters if you want to have happy family life and watch your kids grow up marry a German .
