10-17-24 Listening from Southern Ontario, Canada, 43* N. i have given orders to my butler, that I am always “home” to Fred Gwynne, should he wish to stop by ! He always plays his part so beautifully!! I don’t believe he could have spoken a word wrongly, in his all too short a life ! May everyone sleep well, and awake filled with renewed vigour to a new day - and all the prospects it offers ! Hope you are well Fred! I I remembered Ernie Kovacs, the entertainer from the fifties, the other night, and looked him up. I found a piece he did, called “AN ODE TO A BOOKWORM”, by Percy Dovetonsils. It was hilarious! I’m sure you could easily find it. There is a channel, called “Kovacs Korner” on KZbin. You will surely have a very good laugh - I hope ! I lost myself for the next hour or so watching three of his “Odes” !! He seemed a very lovely man, and sadly, his life was far too short as well. Hope you enjoy “The Ode…” 😘 🫠❤
