Thanks for bringing back part of my childhood. I started listening to the show in the mid 70’s on my clock radio, on KNX Los Angeles at 9:00 p.m.

Similar memory. My mon gave me the Radio. It was in the 8th grade. it was electric with an analog clock on it!!! I even have a picture of me with it. The intro brings back such youthful imagination. I think of Police woman, Starsky and Hutch, what's happening, Barney Miller and The Night stalker.

I'm so happy that this treasure trove of radio theatre exists! Thank you so much Chilly Sunshine for sharing these with us, it's wonderful. I'm from England & have always loved this kind of Americana. I get lost in an era I never knew, but somehow feels like home. Thank you again.

I love Robert Drydens' voice and his acting talents he's "fab!!!" These stories are just great and even tho I'm from England and a late comer to these historic and brilliant radio plays I devour each episode that I come across and it's sad to think that most of the actors and actress's are passed away!!!! I'm sure we'll never hear the likes of these radio plays again............................ever!!!!!

I like his voice. What gripes me in too many of these shows is the screechy, over acted female in distress voices we encounter. The female decibel range requires that they be better at voice if they don't want to cringe the ears.

The voice actors are possibly the most brilliant ensemble ever gathered together for radio. Each week with few rehearsals and little direction they would generate excellent atmosphere and context just using their voices, sometimes playing multiple parts seamlessly. If these actors were alive today they'd be making a mint doing voiceovers for animation and video games. There are very few living actors today who can convey so much emotion using only the sound of their voices with the exception of a few working in video games like Mark Hamill.

Great episode. So many of these episodes are beyond well written. I love how the angles are played and so well thought out. Imagination is such a powerful force. These shows are far better than any video or Netflix episode one could ever watch.

This was stupid. But most of these CBS stories are. I still love to listen. The production value is pretty high and the acting is good. But some if these stories feels like they were made by a 6th grader making it up as he went along. If the endings aren't rushed they're still pretty unsatisfying. Case in point; these relationships were all pretty lame. How inept is this sheriff? He lets a citizen into an interrogation?! And what was the point of the mentally challenged guy who found the wallet? It wasn't throwing us a wild goose chase, we already knew who the culprit was. And the husband couldn't swim and was a water enthusiast?! Not likely. But cudos to E.G. Marshall. To me he'll always be the President from Superman II. I will continue to listen. These are quite entertaining to fall asleep to.
