"Plus a $100 dollars for bills," said Captain Crunch. Heck, even 20 years ago that $100 could cover a few utility bills. When I get nostalgic about watching these cartoons on Saturday mornings, I have to realize the fact that it was actually not so common for me to sit there several hours and just do that. Often, I would have to go somewhere. Still, I apparently watched enough to recall the time.

My twin sister and I used to love to watch Saturday morning cartoons. We would run down the stairs and one of us would go to the kitchen and start making cereal and the other would go into den and turn on TV and get to the right channel. Then we would get our cereal and sit in front of the TV with our TV trays with our cereal. After we ate our cereal we would snuggle up in our dads easy chair and watch cartoons all morning.
