Hurricane Debby makes landfall; Wind to increase in metro Atlanta

Debby maintains category 1 hurricane status with winds of 74 mph after making landfall northwest of Cedar Key, Florida around 7 a.m. Monday morning. Georgia’s greatest impacts from Debby come this afternoon through mid week as the storm rolls through the state and ultimately stalls along the coast.
