decided to upgrade my sound a bit. adding an audison 10 slim box in the boot. Would changing the factory component speakers make much difference to the overall loudness? my fear is the sub drowing out the top end, and ive never really been happy with the HK standards. thanks

Is the Audison software available to the end user or just authorized dealer/installers? I already have two new Audison 5.1k amps. Can I use it in a 2024 M340i with a bit one dsp? Or is it just easier to use a Forza Audison amp with the integrated dsp as far as oem integration? I have the HK sound system in my M340i. I’m having a custom carbon fiber sub enclosure made to fit on the driver’s side trunk cubby for a JL Audio 10W6 dual 4 ohm voice coil.

On my BMW M340i with the Harmon Kardon system I prefer to use a custom fiberglass sub enclosure built into the left cubby area of the trunk. I’m considering an Image Dynamics IDMAX 10” for the small required air space of .75 cu ft in a sealed enclosure. What Forza amp/dsp will integrate into the idrive 8 system. Any way to integrate the Audison 5.1k with a bit one HD?

Is „Harman Kardon a waste“ ? you didn’t really answer this (video title) unfortunately…if the 400 or 700 pound extra coming from Hi-Fi or Basis BMW system is worth this (little) money. For sure a 5000 pound aftermarket package is even better, but for only 400 or 700pound extra I‘d say with the HK you get a lot improvement over base stereo for your money. Probably price value is better than any aftermarket upgrade, right ?

You seriously love to comment on this video 😂 Yes it is better than base obviously but the question is, the 700 is wasted where as an aftermarket it investment and it sound better obviously. If you are happy with HK then that’s cool and all the best, lots of people don’t like it, hence why we have upgraded it again and again over the years 🙏

@@vollcare4076 You have to listen to it to understand and compare, HK is better than base obviously, level 4 is miles better than HK. Everyone’s opinion is different but no one has ever said HK is better than when we have upgraded it

@@CambridgeCarAudio for sure, I believe you guys if you get paid 3000-5000 to improve stock HK it will sound massively better: that’s what you can expect for such huge amount of money. But I think that 400 or 700 spend on HK over base stereo has better values for money than spend 5000 pound of you Upgrade the HK by an aftermarket system. So they 400 or 700 is definitely not ‚wasted‘.

@@darrenlomax1283 because we see so many times where the install is crap and the sound is also. A product is only as good as the person installing. If the foundations aren’t set then upgrading is pointless. For a front speaker upgrade with that set it should be around £900

In Germany HK is an option, HiFi is Standard
