Todays video is the beginning of a series called Behind The Sound, the vehicle we are focusing on is an upgrade we are carrying out on a Porsche Macan GTS. The vehicle came in with the ASK system from Porsche which is normally known as the base system. We are replacing the speakers and adding new amplification to make a massive difference to the audio experience for our client.

I want to add a sub to my Macan S base sound system with no factory subwoofer. Would you recommend adding a line out converter before or after the factory amplifier? Thanks in advance for your help and thanks for the video.

You can just go high level in to the amp

I currently have Musicar Stage 2 which is the tweeter upgrade and replacement of the Bose amp with “Musicar’s amp and DSP.” I just learned after the install that I have no fade front to rear option which was a bit of a let down but it does sound better than the stock setup. Anyway, I’m looking to replace the front 8” drivers and the mid 3” drivers. Are the speakers you swapped a plug and play option?
