Thanks a lot for such a detailed and in-depth video. Its very sad that some shops do the installs like this. Cause Im sure many people with badly installed and tuned systems wont go anywhere else to get it properly done. Your fabrication is always on point. But got to disagree about the weight of the pillars being a massive issue, especially when running a mid in the pillars. If it was just a tweeter, sure a light weight finish is fine. But I'd always want a decent mass around a midrange.

32:28 Work is good not bad, but you guys forget 1 thing which is the fans that you have added behind the amplifiers as you look properly on 1st amp where it is aligned with the subwoofer 1 blade of the fan is missing which cause the vibration & vibration sound when fan is turn on. I think replacement with new fan is good option to avoid the vibration + vibration sound! Please take a look.

Hey guys im not sure if your mic is even capable of recording what that system is actually doing it is no doubt extremely difficult to capture the sound without distorting the microphone, it is so important to listen to a system in person to hear what it is capable of You Tube is no substitute even if you have a really good system to play KZbin on it is not even close to representing what it actually sounds like. That certainly looks like it has been done right now. Nice to see folks with a little passion for their work.

With regards to dsp though I would think some systems require a lot more signal processing than others and some can actually sound pretty good without it though in a small space like a car I expect dsp done right will be the icing on the cake.

Also the left fan has a broken blade and fans are mounted with exhaust side to the backseat, those wont be doing much efficient work. Maybe for the next time you could try some microfans of 40-60mm (noctua has those). These could be imbedded nicely into the side of the amplifier frame, to move air around. @@CambridgeCarAudio The fan with one of the blades broken off will be out of balance which will shorten its lifespan as well as potentially creating unwanted extraneous noise. Just to be clear so we aren't misunderstanding, the fans should be configured so that one pair draws cool air INTO the amp rack as an "intake", and the 2nd pair of fans Exhaust the warm air OUT of the amp rack in a continuous flow. If both pairs of fans are configured so that they all push air into the amp rack, it will create positive pressure environment with very little air movement and will not remove and exhaust the heat from the amp rack efficiently.

But now the bad things : you have serious issues with the sound deadening(more like lack of deadening) : 1. no 2 nd layer in the outer door pannel, not even after the midbase ! , 2. you did't put any deadening on the middle door ! You didn't even sealed the holes fron the doors with sound deadening ! Wtf, you will loose a lot of midbase ! 3. the floor needs a 2nd and 3rd layer or at least a sandwitch type material over the vibro 1st layer that you put. I'm sure that you charged the client a lot and you made a lot of econommy sound deadening the car. Same thought here. For me it looks like it was a tuning issue. The pillars are completely fine I don’t see the value for completely redoing them. The sub box could have been sealed easily. Put in dampening material to simulate a larger box. Ok the deadening was poor and the overall install isn’t great but it is still better than everything I have got here in Munich Germany. As soon as you start to do it by yourself you start to think about it differently e.g that there are cheaper more efficient options. @@christophergettings9159 they don't know what they are doing and I've seen them graduating from the university of KZbin. Tessa tape is for protecting the wire not making it look good. Who wants to look at a taped wire and say ' yes that looks awesome'. The factory users Tessa tape to protect their wiring through the vehicle in the places you CAN NOT SEE.

As a profesional audio shop you should know than instaling midbass speakers into flimsy door doesnt imrpove the midbass.Worse location for midbass! You can use as many soundeadening material you like to make the door rigid but the sound never will be good!Im surprise you dont know that!!!You are far behind PS SOUND!!!far far.

We are not in the same market, what we specialise in is something very different to Peter (not knocking what he does). We are not building this car for competition level, we are building it for the our client and how they want it. Business is not a race and winners and losers. We do what we want and others can do what they want. Chill and enjoy life a little :)
