Retired Chicago police officer, beloved neighbor shot and killed on West Side

A retired Chicago police officer was shot and killed on the city's West side on Thursday. The 73-year-old man was shot in the 4300 block of West Monroe Street around 11:30 a.m., according to the Chicago Police Department. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he died. Longtime friends and neighbors identified the victim as Larry Neuman.

The world hasn't become awful. Just somoe parts of it, mainly democrat run cities. I live in a republican, conservative area, and although there are incidents, there are not as many as elsewhere.

Yes Larry was a great person and helped a lot of people.. he was also a veteran. He grew up with my older siblings and loved St Micheal church. I’m still in shock praying 🙏🏽 who’s responsible for his killing will be found.💜💔praying for his wife and family also.
