If we are finding scalar quantity like charge , potential then we will use signs of charges in formula and when we are finding vector quantity like electric field, dipole moment then we will not use signs of charge in formula because negative sign in vector quantity represents direction and which is already considered in diagrams..... I hope you understood the concept of using signs of charges😊

It's sufficient brother, just practice selected questions of NCERT and PYQs (most important). Boards Physics isn't JEE Adv. so be chill. Prepare from here and revise + practice regularly you'll achieve 50+ in Physics. Focus on theory.@@user-nw4ec8fj1p
