The new edition 2020 there is an error in the book In the place of "INCREASING" it should be "STRICTLY INCREASING".

Sir please check that in new textbooks the interval is closed [1,2] and hence the answer given is also changed to a=-4. But in old text book the interval is open(1,2) and the answer is a>-2 please check and explain the reason. Thank you

Sir, 13th question me 2nd interval ka option tha, (π/2 , π) usme 100x^99 + cosx hh, so my question is that If x is taken as negative value then 100x^99 will also be negative as 99 is an odd term so why the answer will be none of these. Please answer sir

Sir when we have to equate derivative of f equals to 0 . Bcoz in some questions we are putting f'(x) equal to 0 nd in some question equating it with inequality .

Put x = pie /2 then you find f'(x)= -2sin(pie) and sin is positive in intervel 0 to pie Ohk it means sin(pie)= something positive It means f'(x) = -2(something positive) f'(x) = negative oor greater then 0 So it is decreasing function
