These fires happen every year and been happening since the 50’s costing tribal trillions of dollars by now. Maybe and it’s just a thought but start clearing land going back about 500’ from edge of all communities. Clear the trees and underbrush from the roads going back about 100’ on each side. Run large pumps and pipe from the ocean going about 100 miles inland so there’s plenty of water. Build a lot more lakes for planes and helicopters to fill up

This is just so sad! Unfortunately I think some people will have to go elsewhere instead of paying high rents or rebuilding. This seems so intentional to me and not just a natural occurrence. I’m so sorry for every person and family that lost their beautiful home. Im from there and the loss is of much greater and unexplainable magnitude than it shows with just videos and pictures. The landscape is forever changed historically and architecturally too as many of the homes were 1-75 years old and beautifully build and designed. The one good thing is that the community is coming together to help others and most people were able to get out with their lives. Prayers for all. My heart is with you.

I do not want to sound like an "I don't care but this world is six billion people overpopulated, and that state has nothing good to offer society. If I were there, I would help people, for that is the right thing to do, but since it does not impact my life, I don't care. This world has turned its back on morals and dignity, so I am sorry to all the people who are mad at this but look at the world for what it has become.
