Meh, jealousy is inevitable when you have parents who are accomplished in the public realm, are well known, respected etc. When you step up and do what *you* love and become accomplished in a very different way from the parents(s) the pettiness and envy increases exponentially. I do hope she makes the 2020 Olympic Equestrian Team. She’s an excellent rider who no one paid much attention to-until she started moving up in the ranks of accomplished riders. She has paid the same dues every other aspiring equestrian pays as well. This is *not* an “easy” undertaking. Much respect and best wishes to her!

I saw Bruce at Wembley Stadium in London in 1985. Patti was on stage with the band, she was the backing singer then - she and Bruce got together sometime later. Good luck to his daughter in her career, and good luck to his son too - who is apparently a fire fighter in New Jersey.

Pay for a few lessons on a school horse. Go from there. Do your research on what stable, teacher and philosophy makes sense for you and for the horses. You don't have to have Bruce's big money to get started. Your daughter may be able to offset the lesson fees with stable chores. Great way to learn.

The natural instinct of a horse is to run away when a human wants to sit on them. We have just enslaved them so much that it seems natural. It's 2019. We don't need to ride horses anymore like 500 years ago, so we need to evolve and not use them for entertainment that hurts and kills them regularly!
