These little breezes don't frighten me! This is my 9th hurricane 🌀. I've lived in the Bahamas and Florida all my life and will continue to do so. This is, by far, the best state to live in with world-class fishing and driving. Beaches, islands, sailing...🥰😎 Why would anyone NOT live here? 🤪

Nice weather overall, no income tax, lower cost of living, lower housing prices (before the last couple of days), can go to the beach all year long. Hurricanes are a risk but are also rare and there are ways to mitigate the risk, such as not living in a flood prone area

My sister's house is about 15 miles east of Long Boat Key. They didn't go far 🙄 but they did evacuate. Most of their neighbors did not. This infuriates me.

It’s not that people are choosing not to listen. Have you seen the highways? One family posted on TikTok they were stuck for 4hrs in traffic and only moved 60miles. Some ppl don’t have a car, financials means or family that can’t travel bc of medical reasons.

@@Chad-gr3rz I remember wanting to move to Florida so many times. I loved spending summers out there with my cousins in Lakeland and Florida City, and I really love Tampa and Orlando. I have mad respect for God's weather though, and I would be leaving with the slightest report of a hurricane every time.

Listening to this, I am really saddened by the homeless man living on his boat who refuses to leave because his boat might be destroyed and he will have nowhere to go. He would rather go down with his boat, but honestly believes he will be okay. I am praying for him and everyone else who refuses to leave with their pets and children

They reported today that the national guard was headed to Florida. Florida has there nation guard & there sending more from other states as well. Florida is well prepared for the hurricane. The people who need help is North Carolina. They need national guards men there to help. According to a post from there they’ve received no help. No FEMA no national guard no one showed up to help them. They need HELP now today !!!
