We sure do miss you Mr. President. Not one day did I ever wake up worrying that you weren't in control of things. I'm 65 years old and I doubt I'll ever see another as good a man as you in the people's house. Peace be with you and Michelle and your lovely girls.

This President Obama will be missed from so many people in USA and surely many other countries too. He really is the greatest President of ages, since i grown up early 1960´s There couldn´t be any other President easy following his footsteps, specially not the President D.T. There couldn´t be more space between this 2 President than any other before. May you all excuse my bad english, bcs i am German. I followed most of President Obamas actions in the white house, specials with Musicians, or any other occasion. I never saw a Leader of the western world, who ever was singing in front of a audience, the way he did.He brought humanity and heartiness to a place that usually isn´t, in the white house. His family and especially his great first Lady made USA really looking Great. I truly wish for the people in USA, that all he brought and fixed for the citizens , will not be gone, since president D.T. took his Place in the white house..

Obama is a wonderful example of all that's good in America. I say that as an Englishman. But did I ever tell you about the evening in 1968 when I saw Jeff Beck and his band (The Jeff Beck Group in fact) at the Assembly Hall, Worthing (Sussex, UK)? It was the first gig I ever went to. Happy days! Actually I think it was 1967, now that I think about it.

You are so right! My roots go all the way back to President John Adams, and America's 'melting pot' is what makes us so great. Our diversity is our strength, even though we still, (and probably will always have) have racists in our country that haven't figured that out yet.

I remember reading the works of an old philosophy professor I had. White guy. Stark conservative, Republican and all things opposite of President Obama. He said “History will remember him fondly. The soul of this nation will long for him one day because he is a once in a lifetime human. There will be no other like him for generations. History will forget the debates, the politics, the missteps & the media, but history will remember how he made the world feel. As much as you wanted to hate the guy, he loved more.” This professor died but in his “last act of humanity” he revealed after his death that he voted for President Obama in his second term breaking a 100 year family stance on always voting Republican. He wanted his grandchildren to be “politically free”.
