Highest-ranking transgender veteran reacts to Trump order targeting trans service members

Sheri Swokowski, a retired Army colonel who is the highest-ranking, openly transgender veteran in the U.S., joins "The Daily Report" to discuss the policy change and what trans people bring to the military.

Illnesses that generally disqualify someone from joining the military include: severe mental health conditions like psychosis, untreated depression requiring medication, anxiety disorders requiring treatment, eating disorders, history of impulse control disorders, significant vision or hearing loss, chronic respiratory issues, severe musculoskeletal disorders affecting mobility, uncontrolled diabetes, significant heart conditions..ect

As an army sgt,retired, i agree in principle,BUT....and it's a BIGGGGG one: the very second a person's being Trans becomes an issue,esp & paticularly an individual looks ridiculous,and/or makes the whole thing about themselves,and/or is a distraction otherwise (including their politics in same) then theyre no longer qualified & that goes for any other demographic. If a trans person can do their job without incident,fine. The problem the last several years has been that, far too many of them, have become walking billboards for what they could get away with under Biden's dod & thus making a mockery of everyone who's ever served. Forget the fact that the sh*t was being taught in class that glorified,& almost marketed the alphabet soup gang to everyone else. to the point that SOME commands went out of their way to promote & otherwise advance said alphabet soup gang (LGBTQIOU8675309) individuals quicker than others. That sh*t's a no-go too. Again, i have absolutely nothing against Transgender folks serving,per se,just saying that it went way beyond that subject when Biden's DOD was hand picking the most outrageous & deliberate "look at me!" Ladyboys to put in obscenely high & hard to obtain leadership positions,over vastly more qualified people, JUST bc it was,again, a walking billboard for lefty ideology. delusion doesnt even cover the mayhem caused by what happens in the barracks that disrupts the morale of straight servicemen. it is well known that even women on the front lines with men has an effect on combat procedures being thwarted by men naturally breaking ranks to protect females. fighting men have to feel that their backs are being covered, and not by a blanket... women and men should be bedfellows, but servicemen should be a cohesive unit. what possible knowledge could a trans person invoke in a world of enemy combatants who do not share the ideology. if anything this brings weakness to the foundation of warfare by introducing a division the enemy can exploit.
