Did they hold the violent perpetrators accountable or just arrest the hundreds of non violent protests who refused to leave?

Hopefully both. Illegal occupation is the crux of the Pro-Palestinian cause. Let us not be hypocritical.

They declared guilty those who said that 16 thousand children whose lives were put to death in a short period of 6 months could not be terrorists. Isn't it strange!

Hi, could you rephrase your question its hard to understand what you are meaning. Who is "They" that you are referring to? Who (what person or persons)"could not be terrorists" And what persons are you referring to when you say- "who said that 16 thousand children whose lives were put to death in a short period of 6 months"? I would like to reply to your question but there are a lot of ambiguities and I don't want to assume.

I'm interested in knowing how these protests impacted the war in Gaza, if at all. If the protests were completely peaceful, devoid of all hate speech and violence, and lacking the same intensity would they have been as effective? Arguably it might have been necessary in order to bring attention to a genocide that is happening in a different part of the world.

How far has the antisemitic rot spread on American campuses? This far: at UCLA, students who identified as Jews, or who were suspected of being Jews, were refused employment at the Cultural Affairs Commission of the Undergraduate Students Association Council.
