I love this series it's so good!! U Americans or the Americans I should say were so good at writing series from the 40's to the present or maybe the 80's with Nightfall. In my humble opinion this series is a true classic that should never be lost and forgotten but saved for future generations as they like all of us who listen and love this will do so as we do, well I hope so anyway? Thanx to you tube we can all savour all the series we want and that's got to be a good sorry great thing!!!

My mom used to listen to this series before she went to bed, and now I listen to these while I paint or diamond paint. Hopefully my son will find these interesting when he gets older. Thank you for loading these awesome stories!! 💖

Thank you Chilly Sunshine for these wonderful CBSRMT shows! I listened to these as a kid, we only got them on Friday nights from our local CBS affiliate, for some reason. I would love to see CBS inaugurate a new line of these stories, make it fascinating again, with an actor similar to EG Marshall playing the MC, as well as the same door-creaking opening. Mystery Radio grows even more in the 21st Century! Because (in part) of these shows I have gone on to become a novelist, an author of mystery thrillers myself. Bless you, keep up the good work! Oh yeah, I love the illustrations you came up with for each show.

Thanks for sharing! I pray your novels are doing well! Since you left such a lovely comment, I thought I would just share that we, unfortunately lost ChillySunshine, somewhere around the time, of your comment. But they left this amazing legacy of interesting people and conversations about their lives and childhoods... It's a mini love fest, under each, wonderfully presented episode. RIP Chilly...💜🙏💜 Well done.

I started listening to the CBSRMT around 1976. I used a home made antenna to tune in to a distant country radio show late in the evening. I'd copy them with a cassette player while listening in the dark! A lot of fond memories. Now I'm in my 60's and I still love listening to them!

tweakiepop series first aired in 1974. You mention King and Groening listening to this program while they were young. Not sure how you define young but neither was a wide eyed kid when this aired. Groening about age 20, King around ago 27.

Do you mean an episode of CBSRMT with a space adventure theme?
There is a series of books called omega force you may like. If this question still has relevance.
