I'm so glad for technology in bringing back cbsmt. Listened to it every night on WLS Chicago 50 years ago when I was a kid

This was a deliciously creepy story! One of the better ones I’ve heard. The voice of Mrs. Williams was especially disturbing - very high-class sounding yet also very sinister.

I know what you mean so after listening to a few I'm deciding that that door needs some oil. Especially if it creaks just as I'm drifting off to sleep. 😁👵

There's a short story by Stephen King on KZbin, *"You Know they got a hell of a band"* It reminded me of this story.

Foolish question, but why does a married couple need separate rooms? And they goofed on the cost issue. When Mike read the ad, he said it was $50 a week, PER PERSON. That would make the cost $100. Then a bit later, Carol Slater says they were paying $50 a week, period. Good story. Deeply weird.
