Stupid plan... they should have just extended BART. Now you will have to wait for the train, than transfer to a BART train. And to use diesel trains still means using petroleum instead of the electric BART trains.

But that would've meant 2 more decades of waiting, while our bay area highways continue to clog up until they turn into a gridlock. Because it would've costed AT LEAST 5 BILLION DOLLARS to build this 10 mile extension deep into the borders of San Joaquin County.

It would also take longer, like caltrain electrification and it still uses clean air diesel, so stop treating like these are some old 1953 diesel
