My buddies and I had Patriot season tickets in the 70’s. So we’re big Patriot fans and wish Bill the best.

Someone please explain how he will "revolutionize" CFB. Everything he talks about is already implemented by top programs like Ohio St, Bama, Texas, Oregon etc. He has to catch up, hes not ahead of the curve. I dont doubt he knows more about football than most coaches. But the idea that hes brining a new system to football is ridiculous.

The same was said about Belichick in the NFL. Everyone was doing the same things but the Pats just did it differently. At one time there were 90 ex-Patriots on other NFL teams. Media joked that literally every team knew the Patriots Way but no one could replicate it. One example...NE evaluated and signed 73 players one off season. They released the majority of them. Most teams bother with half that number. Another was refusing to sign pro-bowlers to huge contracts and either traded them or let them walk during the final season of their contract. Researcher Ernie Adams was another innovation. Bill also got teams to throw in late round draft picks (others considered throwaways) during trades and stockpiling them for bigger trades. Of course Bill had many Xs and Os innovations...some caused future rules changes.

He won’t and this is going to end badly, especially if they agreed to make his goofy son the coach in waiting.

@@GDTBATH I think it's been proven by now, they were able to avoid signing those types of players because of Brady
