We know, we don't do the rankings either. We dropped 6 spots, the same as Ole Miss and CU.....same drop, all took an L and it wasn't really competitive for us and CU. We did have 2 td called back but we shouldn't have been down 3 regardless. Anyway, it's not bias. They used the same number for all of us. We were just higher than the others when they did it.

The only reason Indiana is being mentioned in the playoff mix is because they are in a power 4 conference. If you look at the other two teams that also have 1 loss, you have Army and Boise State. Both of their strength of schedules are better than Indiana. Boise St. ha played 5 teams with winning records, Army has played 3 teams with winning records, and Indiana has played 4 teams with winning records. Boise state has played 2 ranked teams and went 1 and 1, one of those games was a loss by 3 to the number 1 team. Army has played 1 ranked team being Notre Dame. Indiana has played 1 ranked team being Ohio State. So why isn't Boise State higher, why isn't Army higher. If Indiana was not in a power 4 conference then I don't see them being ranked higher that 23 and even that might be generous.

Penn State has beaten 5 teams with a losing record, ND has beaten 4 teams with a losing record. So if you want to talk about playing teams with a losing record that's kind of weak. Penn State still has their win against a ranked and still ranked Illinois. One major difference is ND lost to Northern Illinois. As long as ND isn't in a conference they shouldn't get a bye for the playoffs that's for conference winners. So a one sport difference doesn't really mean much.

I think this 12 team bracket is going to be lackluster. You have Indiana, ND, Penn state, Boise State in there and they are not proven to be contenders. I think Miami will falter in front of a formidable opponent also. I don't think Texas can beat the Aggies. So, Boise lost to Oregon and has played nobody since, Penn state lost to Ohio state but beat Illinois, they have played nobody either. ND, although they beat the Aggies, Louisville, Army and Navy; I am not convinced that they are a powerhouse. SEC fans and lovers have gotten so spoiled with the success of Alabama under Nick Saban that they've been led to believe that the SEC can't be defeated by any non-SEC team or teams. But, I know that that isn't true because Alabama lost to Vanderbilt who lost to Georgia State. And Alabama lost to Tennessee who lost to Arkansas. And, simply put, Alabama lost to Oklahoma who just came over to the SEC from the Big XII conference this year, who has been trash this year 🤷. And Georgia lost to Alabama who lost to all of the teams specified above, and who lost to Ole Miss who just lost to Florida who lost to Miami. And LSU is in straight up shambles, right now. Two things could be true. There could be Alabama bias but there is also an objective argument that they are a better team with 3 losses than many who will end up with only two. It only takes looking at their schedule. The losses count but so do the wins. Who has Clemson, SMU, or Miami played and/or beaten this year to justify having one fewer loss. At the end of the day that will apply to at least two of said teams. The same situation can be said of the Big 12. It's one thing to be biased but objectivity should be the goal. Perhaps actually look at the other teams involved with the same scrutiny and apply the same standards as you would Alabama and see if you'd reach the same conclusion. Surely they are a top 4/5 team this year but at this point, can you substantiate an argument that they aren't Top 10 - 15? Probably not without your own emotional bias.

@docbradleydc First of all, we play the schedule we are dealt, like anyone!!! Also, it's about who you beat when you play them!!! Analysts were predicting a possible upset at W. Virginia, and we skull dragged their asses, then 2500 miles away and 3 different time zones, beat USC, in overtime, because we played terrible in the first half, then shut their asses down, then Wisconsin in Camp Randall, and we lost our starting quarterback, but we are so damn talented and deep, backup quarterback shined and defense elite as always, shut their asses down in the second half!!! Last Saturday, played terrible, but defense second half gave up 1.9 yards per carry and we found a way to win as always!!! WE ARE, very dangerous team and only going to get much better and home game in Happy Valley in December!!!! Good luck, for whoever has to be the sacrificial lamb!!!!! WE ARE, they aren't

If the NFL scouts and people drafting felt the way you did then maybe more people wouldn’t opt out. But if you get seriously injured your stock WILL drop and you won’t get drafted as high as you could have been. In a perfect world everyone plays and doesn’t get hurt and stock isn’t affected. But this ain’t a perfect world and millions of dollars are on the line. No one in there right mind would chance multi million dollars leaving the table to play in a meaningless bowl game. Maybe you already got millions so whether you make it to the league isn’t a priority but most of the players I know don’t have millions just laying around to have the luxury of taking that chance.

SEC should just have their own tournament/playoffs. Non-SEC fans are so dumb.. they would rather see a team like Army get pounded by Ohio State than to have a competitive and exciting game like an Ole Miss against OSU just because a team like army has 1 loss and a team like ole miss has 3 losses… let them have their dumb Oregon vs one loss Mickey Mouse community college and have the game be a blowout before halftime. I know this was last year, but ole miss whooped Penn state in the bowl game and PSU was a 1 loss team to Ohio state just like this year.

I agree Bama shouldn’t even be mentioned they have 3 count them three losses. The closest they should even get to the playoffs is watching it on tv.
