Cleveland Browns blamed Baker Mayfield for their woes, the moment Baker got to a competent franchise, all he's done is make Offensive Coordinators into Head Coaches in the league. Baker Mayfield is going into his 8th year in the league and STILL hasnt been able to stay in the same system for more than a year. This is rather unfortunate for Mayfield. This is the 2nd OC in a row, and the 3rd OC in Baker's career that got a HC job just 1 year after working with Mayfield. I really wished Coen would have stayed.

So if Tampa gets a new offensive coordinator for a third time and he does great, there is a chance they would get head coaching opportunities. It’s terrible because you don’t want a bad OC, but a great one always has an opportunity to leave. (It is what it is!)

The point is that he failed in Cleveland and Carolina, so if these coordinators can get him to be an NFL starting QB, then these owners and GM's are going to bring them over trying to fix their own #1 overall pick QB's that haven't yet worked out, even though they have better measurables than Baker. That's their thought process.

The last 2 years he has managed to barely get into the playoffs being in the worst division on the weaker conference. In Cleveland he had 4 pro bowl OL, a young Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt, a YOUNG Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry. At TE David Njoku and Austin Hooper. He had Moore and McCaffrey in Carolina. In Tampa has Words,Evans and Godwin and now Irving. WHAT QB you know has had that? 30 years old and has a career losing record.
