As a New Yorker watching this in a very cold and snowy morning it is lovely to watch these swans navigating the frigid waters without much fuss but lots of trumpeting to each other.....joyful ✨❤️✨

What a beautiful sight! Fantastic captures of the swans flying, landing, and taking off! One swan swam through the puddle with grace after it slipped and fell. What a great way to handle a dip on the road!

I'd be sounding a trumpet too if I was swimming in those icy waters.

99% of these are Tundra swans, still a beautiful sight and sound. Most Tundra have a small yellow spot at the base of the bill. Also the eye is not encompassed by the black facial skin like it is on a Trumpeter such that the eye on a Tundra is more distinguishable. The white forehead where it meets the bill is more "V" shaped on a Trumpeter as well. I am from the area and while there are surely some Trumpeters in the mix (and some even nest at the nearby Montezuma NWR and NYSDEC lands) this congregation is made up mostly of Tundra. Also Sandhill cranes @ 10 sec

Lots of amazing footage of swans. Great to see them flying too. In my video they are relaxing, but one of the stretches their wings wide. They are truly magnificent creatures. Thanks for sharing.

Government agencies and private conservation groups have contributed to the saving of this species, the growing numbers of trumpeter swans. Thank us taxpayers and those who donate money to save the environment for the ability to see videos like this, as well as in-person views, of course.

Gorgeous. We don't get Trumpeters or Tundra swans in our area. We get occasional here and there along with the Canadas. Oakland CA's Lake Merritt is the oldest bird refuge in the U.S.

I love the CBS Sunday Mornings Moment of Nature! But these are Tundra Swans, not Trumpeters. Tundra's have a small yellow spot on their black bill beneath the eye and the bill is a tad shorter than the Trumpeter which is a bigger swan by about 10-20% in size.

Wait so based on your description, these are not tundra swans. Where's the yellow spot? I looked and I don't see it. These are trumpeters.

Most of the swans seen in this videos were tundra swans; you can tell because tundra swans have a little bit of yellow under their eye on the beak. And most of the swan calls in this video were tundra swan calls

The economic hardship, recession, unemployment and the loss of job caused by covid pandemic is enough to push people into financial ventures. Summer is almost here again with lots of activities to be enjoyed. Well, I'm taking a trip into investing because I lost so much during this pandemic. Multi creation of wealth is the best strategy to ensure financial sustainability...
