When i was working in pipeline projects. Serimax using internal clamp just like that.. Production rate is higher with internal clamp.

money wasted for a sinple operation to centre pipe for weld, when u can use more ceap few bars welding inside to one pipe and joined , i scared to ask price for thease machine, and to many mantenace thing oil ,etc . just think u try to put thease in to pipe demaged and cilcle is no mor perfect ,how u fixed bicos thease think sint have front or back hidraulic press for thease tipe dmg, so verry useless machine

It's use is to provide a non-consumable backing for single sided welding - a huge cost savings, not meant to solely line up the pipe...
