The viewing angles are really drastically improved on 2024. 2023 (and 2022) used some weirdly thick top glass that seemed almost unlaminated leading to really poor viewing angles. Im glad they improved it

Just a sidenote: this comparison is a little skewed because in previous years, Motorola would release 2 versions of the stylus. One 4g version (which is the model being compared with the'23 version)with reduced specs around the board, and one 5g version(the '24 version being represented here). They were entirely different devices priced accordingly. Biggest difference was the chipset. This year, (2024) Motorola only released one 5g version only. So maybe a comparison with the 2023 5g version would've been much more relevant. The differences to those 5g versions were still there, but it was much closer. The 5g '23 Stylus actually uses the SAME SNAPDRAGON 6gen1 as the '24 stylus! Some people are highly sensitive to screen flickering on OLEDs, so the '23 Stylus with it's LCD might actually be a better choice for some. Also, the 5g version a MOST CERTAINLY has NFC. The deals on the '24 are nice, but I'm sure they're are even crazier deals on the '23.

nice review man, you covered a couple of things i havent seen in other videos. one of the things it looks like they got rid of with android 14 is the peek display, which i actually liked. tried to order the 2024 from motorola but they cancelled my order for no apparent reason. might try again tho

I love my 2024 g stylus. I got a 1.5tb microsd in mine and the 256gb as well internal. Its the caramel color. i preferred the red but beggars cant be choosers as i got this for $250 brand new open box on ebay. Also looks like youre a lefty! My fiancee is also a lefty
