I think the recognition of this method is still low, but it is one of the methods that I hope will spread in the future, so I made this video.
As is the case with the open channel, there are various methods of shoe repair, and each has its own merits and demerits.
We believe that the construction method that is best suited to the owner of the shoes is a good construction method, since advantages can become disadvantages and disadvantages can become advantages depending on the TPO in which the owner uses the shoes.

海外の靴修理工房のKZbin動画を見ていると、機械で掘っている場面がよく写っています。ソールの余りをカットしたり、ウェルトとソールを圧着するのにすら機械でサクッとやっているのを見ると、この技を持って料金がさほど変わらないならすごいと思いました。

靴修理業をしていますが脱帽ですねこれは。 しかし一般の靴修理店は溝掘りと底縫いは他業者さんにお願いしてもらってるところが多いので下手に自分で溝を入れるとその溝に合わせて糸を落としてくれるとは限らないので自分達ではやらないという背景もあるのかなと思います。
