(cc) Friends Clash in Duolingo (super glitchy at the moment)

Hey, how can I understand if someonse added me to a friends clash? To be more clear literally a day ago I had no one at my friends clash place (it was empty and asking me if I want to add my friend) but today suddenly I got a notification about clash with him and his profile appeared at that plus button, I’m not sure if he added me or it’s just something Duolingo did

The whole rollout has been wonky and too subtle. No pop up to say anything about it being a thing, no notification about being in a clash, like you say. It's been really wonky
