You are incredible, can you update the code and allow us to import a cc3+ character into blender and add spring bones and then import the character to cc4 and we can continue editing the character values without losing the cc3+

Bones aren't showing up for whatever reason Edit: I had the screen amature disabled in viewport. This was much needed thank you for this awesome addon. You can use Blender's cloth sim on cloths made outside of Blender without the bones so it works like if you made them in Blender.

Please Please include a tab through we can get similar control rig Selector as in iClone ( Edit motion layer) within the Blender for either Rigify or Reallusion native rig whatever suitable. I'm using Animbox for Rigify but it is not as polished as your addon.

I have to comment your work. On the first minutes i didnt have much expantations. On the halftime of your Video, you got my attention. And on 3/4 you amazed me till to the mind blowing end-reslult. Not only that I have spent a long time perfecting my skills in this direction. But that they exceeded my knowledge and that I was able to experience again for a long time how I suddenly couldn't understand everything in real time while watching. This is a very good job, dude!

Love the tool Mr. Soup. I do have a question though. When using the CC4 Blender Pipeline, there is a Transfer Weights button, but the results are underwhelming to be honest (obviously due to algorithmic happenings in Blender) but how can I utilize the Voxel Heat Diffuse Skinning instead? Could you perhaps make this a option in the tool itself for convenience? Otherwise, I've been having a blast. 🙏

Transfer weights copies the weights from the Body mesh. Voxel Heat Skinning builds the weights from the bones. So at, or just above, the surface of the body the weights won't match, which will cause lots of clipping and skinning artifacts. What I've been thinking about doing is Blending the weights: using the body mesh transferred weights near the surface of the skin and blend it to the voxel heat weights the further away from the skin. Just enough distance to stop the skinning artifacts at the surface. It might work, or it could be disastrous. Not going to know until I try it I suppose.

Hi, I love your addon, it's saved me so much time. I'd like to ask, does this work on hair cards made in blender? Or the hair has to have cc3/4 id information in order to work? Thank you!

It has to have the CC3/4 info, to identify which parts of the mesh/materials are hair or not and which parts of the skeleton to add the bones to. If you're adding newly created hair to a CC3/4 character you can add the new mesh to the character info via the "Character Management" panel > "Add to Character" button. Then in the "Character Build Settings" panel you can assign the mesh and materials as Hair.

Possible? Maybe, I haven't tried. Some people have exported these characters from Blender to Unreal, by exporting from CC4 to Unreal first then another from Blender to Unreal and using the materials from the CC4 version on the Blender version. Or something like that.
