The fact that Daniel is signing because he’s on vocal rest is beautiful

They are so cute!! I love Josh's story about him and Alex having their table backwards! Similar stuff has happened to me in shows and it's terrifying!

I recorded them, so one, people could watch them who couldn't in the 24 hours it was on Periscope. And two, I'm adding captions to the videos. periscope doesn't have captions. Since the Opening Night party is in the background it can be hard to hear. For, people relying on being able to read the sign language it can be difficult because to have a good video, yourself and the person recording it have to have the best internet. I wanted everyone to be able to see the interviews.

+Mackenzie McGrath FANTASTIC! Do you want any help with any of the captioning? I use amara.org all the time to do that, too! (I can caption, and then you can grab the captioning file from there, as the owner, if you haven't used them before.)

+kimberlyjennery Help would be amazing. I'm currently working on DJ Kurs video, but I did Ali Stroker and Alex Wyse's, by listening intently to what people are saying and whom is saying it. Can that website determine when one person has stopped talking, to another person, or can you edit whom is speaking?

+Mackenzie McGrath you still need to do it all manually, but I like their manual timing controls just a little bit better than youtube's - and youtube's autocaptioning is usually such complete crap, I rarely even use it as a starting off point. It's free to use, so feel free to give it a try and see what you think :)

+Mackenzie McGrath I'll start work on this one. Josh is a friend of mine, and I'd love to have helped caption this one, especially :)

I started recording SA Videos starting at the Opening Night 3 months ago. During the beginning, I was the only person putting captions on them it was taking forever. Then one person started to help me, about a month and half ago. Now, there are over 10 known people, and lot more people who chose to help anonymously, to put captions on the videos. Every single person who helps me put captions for these videos makes a difference. We are making thing accessible for everyone. I give thanks to everyone who has volunteered their time to help with this. Now SA has closed. I asked @springpolls, to poll people if I should continue doing these videos. And I also asked the people who follow me on Tumblr (@13mtm80). Everyone wants me to still do them, and some people have still volunteered to help with captions. So, I will still record and caption the cast member’s periscopes. But, I will ONLY keep doing this if I still have volunteers. I have tried doing this on my own, to know that it works a lot better and faster, with many people helping. If you want to help make the SA member’s Periscope videos more accessible. Go here, to help put captions on them: ow.ly/XecbE ~Mackenzie

Daniel is hearing. He literally voices this dude. Why isn't he talking?

A few weeks before opening night, in previews, Daniel had a vocal hemorrhage, and wasn't allowed to sing or talk.

even if he was allowed to speak it would still be kind of him bc he's talking with a deaf person
