Would the buccal root torque solve the problem of a frontal incisor which is oriented a little forwarder than the rest of teeth? Thank you so, so much. You are amazing.

According to Ch.Burstone: "Auxillary root spring on an adgewise arch designed to move the maxillary roots to the lingual - Is this possible? If the spring is bent to push lingually on the crown, the edgewise wire will twist to produce labial root torque. This is an example of an impossible (ineffective) appliance. Placing the auxiliary on a round wire makes the mechanism possible".

that isn't perfectly right if you consider the play btw the wire and the bkt.

@@donghokang3634 Thank You for reply and explanation. That was a citation from Burstone's last book.

thanks to this video i finally understood why if i was using right the torque spring; the premolar i was trying to torque didn´t move at all.... is necessary to use a stainless steel arch wire to distribute the reaction on all the teeth... i was usin a gummetal wire on a torque spring... and the negative reaction i got was on the wire in the section of the main tooth i was trying to move positive... the action and reacton were on the same tooth ... the result was 0.... no movement of the root!! because i was usin a flexible wire... if the wire is rigid then the negative reaction is distributed to all adjacent teeth and the action is still on the one single teeth i want to move! so the single teeth will move very positive and all the other teeth will move each one little little negative
