I just bought this rod I would say yes, if you throw 8xd and 10xd a lot then maybe go up to the 7ft 10 cranking stick he has

@Mike 5350 Thanks for the info. I ended up buying the Lews 8XD rod. It's a 7ft 8in, works perfect for the 6xd and 8xds, not so much the 10xds.
