Here is a way to correct the lyrics. The Allegheny Mts extend from PA through MD and WV and to Virginia. "Appalachian Mountains, find New England White Mountains curve from Maine to New Hampshire Green Mountains DROP from Vermont, Adirondack Mountains-- New York, Allegheny Mountains-- Pennsylvania (to Virginia!)"

The mountain boundaries seem to be fuzzy not only on the Trivium Tables, but just in general when googling it. We'll just do our best! Thanks, CCHappyMom, for these wonderfully creative songs -- they are so very helpful!

Love the song -- one question, though. The maps I'm looking at have the Allegheny Mountains starting in central PA and going south into West Virginia, not north into NY. The official CC trivium tables map is less clear because that area is so congested with mountains... can anyone offer some clarification? TIA!

The physical features boundaries are not very clear on the CC Trivium Tables. I think the Allegheny mountains start in PA and go south to WV as well. The Green Mountains are only actually called the Green Mountains in VT and something different when they enter MA, but the song has no conflict with that. Also, the White Mountains, per my research only extend from Maine through New Hampshire. Don't get me wrong...I'm definitely NOT complaining! These songs are my lifeline! I love them. I just wish CC was super clear on the boundaries.

Oooh, not sure about all of this!! I have been strictly looking at the CC Trivium Tables map since I know that my kids will be tested on that...but I certainly don't want to lead anyone astray! Rats! I have the next song ready, but I'll do some research first... Thank you for bringing it to my attention!!

As a native of the Appalachian mountains it is pronounced App-uh-la-chun. Remember CH as in church not SH as in Shun.
