CCI Indicator Explained For Beginners

CCI indicator is explained for beginners in this video, and it's shown how CCI indicator can be helpful in trading, and how CCI indicator as a trading strategy can be used as part of the trading system. One of the excellent usage of CCI indicator is CCI divergence trading strategy, that can be very helpful for identifying reversals. Sir, In forex pairs SPREAD TRADING do you recommend use of CCI (say on 4H chart--cci 7,cci 14, cci30,cci50 values & add all these values on each pairs to spread & compare overpriced/underpriced leg).The pairs got to have correlations of at least 90%(say aud/usd &nzd/usd--aud/jpy &nzd/jpy--eur/jpy & gbp/jpy--gbp/aud & gbp/nzd etc.).Sell the overpriced & buy underpriced. This would give trader starting edge, staying power, size choice & risk control. You would be comparing deflection of prices summed up on multiple time frames(added up/robust) for asset A & B. Your wisdom is appreciated

@@SoheilPKO Sir, I have found positive results myself with this technique & I look forward to your work analysis. Please do testing on 1H cci added up for cci7,cci14,cci30,cci50 to get MTF cci picture for robust number. Also 1H time frame swings much more often up/down generating many more orders. When summed up CCI reverses LATER for OVERPRICED UNDERLYING (based on new cci numbers-say X days later)--one can close the old position & put new position in opposite fashion. Once trader gets experience & profit stream, trader can scale up on size.I am in New York.

What is the standard value for CCI, like you have mentioned 20. How to fake out misleading signal...for short term and long which CCI value should select ..

As I explained in the video, 20 is the default value. Based on what kind of a trader you are (aggressive or conservative), and also the volatility of the market, and also other tools and concepts you use in your trading system, you may need to increase or decrease the sensitivity of the indicator by adjusting the settings.

It's an indicator, and it's available on most of trading platforms. For this video I used TradingView, and there you can simply add it to your chart. Just search CCI in the indicators and add it.
