Chari, beautiful stitches and finishes 💛. I like celebrations with a little peppermint. I really like your color substitution on the HOD pieces. I have all of those, but not as far getting them done. I was too optimistic about what I could accomplish. This year for Jingle Ball, I’m attending, but as I haven’t completed the projects from last year…I restrained myself and slapped my hands off the computer, and didn’t purchase any for this year! Once again a great, well organized floss tube. Continued thoughts for everyone still cleaning up from Helene. Happy stitching. 🧵 Peg💛

I am always too optimistic about what I can accomplish, but I just set the ones I don't get to aside for next year. I haven't completed last year's Jingle Ball projects either, but no one is holding me to a timeline so it's fine, just stitch to make yourself happy! I loved some of the projects this year so I purchased them and we will see what I get done. ❤️

Beautiful work❤️. I’ve been doing counted cross stitch since I first discovered it in the early 80’s. My grandmother taught me embroidery when I was a little girl (back in the 60’s) but it turns out so much prettier on the even weave fabrics. I’d love to be considered for either the peppermint or celebrations give away. So sorry you’re still so sad. I live in an area of the Texas hill country and we have had lots of devastating floods. I don’t think any of them were as bad as y’all had this year but still they can be hard to recover from. Back in 1978 we had just gotten married and were living in upstate NY so my husband could get training for his new job. There was a hurricane that stalled out up the river from where I had lived. It rained 20 inches in one night. I heard on the national news that the little town I had lived in was “gone”. Of course there were no cell phones and land lines were down. It was several days before I could get in touch with family and friends to see if they were alright. We did lose one person we knew, but most were ok. The power of floods can be so devastating. Thinking and praying for you and your community at this difficult time💕
@charimoss11 күн бұрын
❤️❤️❤️ Yes the power of flooding is so devastating. We have flooding here pretty often with big storms but Helene broke records by not just inches but 5-7 feet. The last big flood was 1916 so there was no preparing for what happened here. Thank you for your thoughts and support!

I would like to just sit and stitch autumn designs, but Christmas is just around the corner and I am a slow stitcher! I found a pattern on the internet watching a flosstube, it's "Just whisper my name in your heart and I will be there..." I thought that I would make it for my mom.
