Can I ask a question here in hopes of an honest answer, I’m Christian, I wouldn’t tie myself to any domination as I’m only rooted in Christ and my bible combined with prayer. ( although I do attend a church) So I struggle with calling a human being holy father the pope is just a man in my mind he may well be anointed by God but never the less a man I’d go so far as to call him a holy man but to me there is only one Holy Father, next I really struggle with praying to mother Mary. We are only to pray to the Father in the name of Jesus I thought ? Isn’t the Catholic Church technically making Mary an idol ? The Glory is Gods and His alone no ? I need to do some studying on the theology of the Catholic Church I guess any direction to find answers or insight is welcome thank you
