@@wingyinlam9031 some are different wording but read it more than once before picking ur answer you will still have to know what they are asking

@@annaclayton1408 I reviewed her videos every morning and every night. In addition I purchased the study guide directly from the NHA website and practice tests. My test did not have a lot of anatomy in it. This could change for others. Definitely need to know the following:. Pharmacology Terms root words Medication dosage HIPPA EKG Hope this helps!

@@annaclayton1408 if by chance you can’t purchase the the practice test and study guide. I highly recommend purchasing the study guide it has additional resources such as flash cards. Also review questions from Quizlet. I notice most of the questions on the practice test were similar.

I also have Quizlet...so good to know that at least "some" forms of the questions are on there. I'll purchase the practice test and I also scheduled some time with Ms K. Praying at this point! 😉

Took my exam yesterday and my results came in this morning, I passed! Thank you so much Ms.K for all of your help. For those taking your exams soon, please know the material as the wording is very tricky. I also want to say for those that have been out of school for a while and not working as an MA please don’t get discouraged, it is still possible to pass. I did it after 3 years, all you need to do is cut out all distractions and study 🫶🏾

I started my externship this week! It’s gone really smoothly so far and I’ve gotten a lot of very positive feedback from the people I’ve worked around. I spent this week doing admin and next week I’ll start on the clinical side. I’m nervous though because one doctor here is very rude to people and extremely demanding. He doesn’t really have positive things to say to anyone and the office tries to avoid him. He’s the provider I’ll be working under during my clinical week and I’m scared. Do you have any advice for how to go about mean and hard to deal with providers? I also want to mention that I’ll remain respectful but I do believe there’s a fine line where enough is enough and if I’m respecting you, I deserve respect back. I won’t tolerate nasty people in the work environment. (I still go about things in a mature and respectful way even if people are like that). Also love how this video style was different. Forced us to really think! I do still think however that it would be a good idea to switch between the two video styles routinely because with the multiple choice it ALSO forces us to use our process of elimination skills. Those q’s can be tricky sometimes when you see multiple answers. Thanks again for the uploads.

I would also LOVE a video over all the blood test ranges because I absolutely NEED to learn these. It’s one of the things I haven’t put much time into yet and I noticed it was a big thing on one of my NHA practice exams.

Great video suggestions, thanks! I’m just seeing your comment so I’m guessing you have been working with the difficult provider this week… How is it going? If at any point you feel disrespected, go to the office manager first and make them aware of it. And maybe all 3 of you can have a conversation. I agree with you about there being a fine line and there was a time where I addressed the provider directly and reminded him that I have been nothing but respectful to him and I expect the same in return. He apologized and bought us all lunch the next day. I think some of them are not used to being put in their place so they continue on doing what they’ve been allowed to do. And then you have some providers that are just difficult and picky, but not disrespectful. Those are the ones you wanna just keep it professional with, don’t laugh and joke with, and just do your job.

Possibly.. it’s hard to say because each test is different. So you definitely want to make sure you know functions and structures of each body system as well as medical terminology that relate to each system

I used notecards, I put sticky notes on my wall so I saw the information daily. I also purchased the NHA study guide and completed the 6 practice exams. It sounds like a lot but it’s really not. Best wishes on your next exam.
