It's expensive because it can gather electronic intelligence of Air defense radars, RCS of J10, j20 for future Eltronic warfare and jamming purposes. Naval MQ9 would come with sonobuoys.. efficient for detecting submarines and underwater vehicles😊

houthis have air defence. This is a wrong idea that houthis doesn't have air defences and on of the secrets in houthi shootdown of mq9 reaper is so many drones were dummy.

@@Eshrakgaming934 that's not air defence system which they have,even hezbullah the strongest Shia militia group doesn't have any air defence system that's why they are destroyed by Israeli air defence system,houthis used guns,anti aircraft guns machine guns or anti aircraft igla style weapons which aren't very good air defence system,& who told you this crap that those destroyed reapers are dummy?those are actual killer reaper drones which houthis are shooting down constantly,have you studied that how Iran has developed good attack drones ,go study a bit about that, Iranian air force shoot down USA & Israeli made attack drones & then they copied & reverse engineered them & made indigenous drones & now they are attacking USA & Israel with those drones ,so buying few reaper drones was good decision for us but buying so many too much expensive drones from double standard USA is very bad deal ,chinese & west Pakistani drones are cheaper & so shooting down those drones won't effect then too much while Indian armed forces will think twice before using expensive reaper drones into contested space
