Great race! What data recording device and software are you using here?

Thanks Jacob. I'm recording using RaceChrono on an old Android phone and the data overlay is done on Dashware. The 675R is OBDII compliant (japanese bikes are not), which is why I can get engine data from it, I used a "china blue" ELM327 for that.

Thanks so much! Am I correct to assume, you were recording from a small action camera and synced the video? Mounting the Android on the front of the bike seems impractical. Then you're free to keep the phone inside your suit to collect the data.

Yes, recorded on a gopro, synced on Dashware to the data from the phone. Have the phone ziptied to the triples. I wouldnt keep the phone in the suit just to avoid injury in a crash, i'd be pissed to break a rib because of it.

Yeah that makes sense. I wasn't thinking about that at first, just the fact that the phone had to be with the bike to collect data. Thanks again! I'll definitely be setting up a system like this. I'm just getting into track riding, but want to eventually do some WERA racing. The information a system like this can give me will be invaluable when it comes to improving lap times, and dialing in technique.
