One of these days I'll get back to making videos. This video has a lot of helpful information and streaming VLC via HDMI to different monitors is such a great idea. I've never seen that anywhere else. Thanks for making it. You never know what tidbit in one of your videos can turn out to be very helpful. For example, I bought a Dell R730 after watching your R720 video. I put TrueNAS Scale on it. I put a couple of shares on it but that's about it so far. I use Blue Iris at home and in one of our buildings at work. I'll be looking for ways to incorporate what you've shown. Thanks for the videos and keep up the good work.

Nice video. Please make sure to cleanup those cables and replace failed drives in your server. This would make your company look lots better. Just my honest feedback.

I’m going to be moving some stuff around and will get the cables organized during that project. The drive isn’t bad. It is just not a supported drive so it is flashing the yellow light.

We do not block non-certified drives on our PERCs. If the controller has communication issues with the drive it may put it into a blocked or unsupported state. You may have an issue with the slot, if that is the case it could also be why you had issues with the previous drive.
