It is way easier and better to select right camera for the task and install camera properly than enhance footage quality after. The main idea is to calculate DORI zones (Detection, Observation, Recognition (125 pixels/meter) and Identification (250 pixels per meter) - distances for each camera where camera could be used for these tasks. by IEC/EN62676-4 standard. Use at least Cctv Lens Calculator for DORI zones calculations. Or specialized CCTV design tools.
