I second the rudder position complaint, always in the way on my Outback as well…total pain in the Alph Sierra Sierra on land!!! Great video!

If hobie was smart instead of putting out a revision of the 360 drive and calling it there new kayak what they should do is also revise the platform for installation of the newer products like dual graphs live scope ect. make a revision as well to the hull. Would be a possible reason to buy a new hobie. Native kayak did an awesome job with the revisions and body design making this platform a reason to upgrade from the older versions. Hobie just needs to do the same

I’ve owned a PA14 for about 6yrs and love it. I agree about the cost (luckily I picked up an end of year model and saved $$) and proprietary items needed. But when I tried them out for me the Hobie was easier for me and felt more natural. The Native seems to have put a lot of thought into stuff like motor hookups. But again the Native to me felt more cumbersome…just my 2c

And that PA 14 is an amazing kayak. One of my favorites. Still my absolute favorite is the Hobie Lynx.

What size Karavan trailer is that? 4x8? 5x8? I'm thinking of going that exact route with the titan X 12.5 & KARAVAN trailer. I need the versatility.
@CyberYaker4 ай бұрын
It is the 5x8. And I just rebuilt it again a different way for even more versatility.

I just really enjoyed the lynx out of all of my kayaks. This is as good as the PA. But I would take a lynx over the PA too.

Hope you won't mind answering a few questions I have. I appreciate all of the videos you have made on this kayak. What are your thoughts on both the initial and secondary stability of this boat? Do you know what the width (workable space) of the cockpit is - space between gunnels in front of the seat? I was also looking at the Jackson Knarr, as it has the most deck space I've seen in a large yak, but the initial stability isn't great due to the hull design. Much appreciated.
@CyberYaker10 ай бұрын
Best stability I have seen on any kayak. And I have had a lot. Initial and secondary. The workable deck space is a little over 26 inches. It is designed to lay the ketch board down on. I show that in another video. I think the first one. Thank you for watching.

Don’t get a knarr they have a lot of issues, check KZbin for reviews. Fishing with gramps had his fill with water and almost sunk

Good afternoon, which is the safer Kayak, the Native Tintan X 12.5 or the Hobie? Greetings from Portugal

What Hobie? Safer in which means? Stability wise to feel safe standing would be the titan x. Safety wise they better all be safe.

The Titan X I’m waiting on will be my first kayak. Coming from bass boats, I wanted something to carry a lot of gear. However, I realize it’s heavy and definitely been considering a trailer. May convert one of my utility trailers until I can afford a dedicated kayak trailer. Appreciate all your input on the Titan X and hate to hear you feel it isn’t the kayak for you.

I have been thru a lot of kayaks to find the perfect kayak for me. The search is still on. It is an amazing kayak but it has more than I needed. I won't ever put motors or electronics on it. I almost bought another LYNX but thought I would give this a try first. It was so close. Thank you for watching.
