很好的題材，這可讓我們西馬人更加了解東馬那裡的少數民族更多的一切。至少，總好過以三大民族題材為方向，而找來你的那些友族朋友們做進一步談論的之前那些影片，主要是你某位女性馬來人朋友，擺著不分種族的表面，實則她潛意識內隱藏著種族主義，越刻意隱藏越在她自己的舉手投足間不經意暴露出來而不自知，她也是非常主觀不客觀的一個人，但願以後都不會看到她出現在你的頻道上，看到她我就不想看了。也許你會覺得我對她有偏見，或許吧......但若是，也是她的不客觀造就我對她難以有客觀的感覺顯現出來。而你另一位男性馬來人朋友，我就會蠻欣賞他的真實不種族主義。我是特別難接受種族主義化的思維，身為百分百華人的我，當華人說其他友族壞話時，我是特別不爽的，我認為一個人是如何的，沒有種族性的直接關聯，主要還是個人性的經歷所造就的，種族性文化差異的成長環境，只是當中導致差異的很小影響而已，很多人都以偏概全地誤認為了很多事項是和種族有所直接大幅度的關聯。不好意思，是有所離題的關聯性有感而發。但願以後能看到更多更深入關於東馬兩州，尤其是少數民族們的更多相關事項的影片在你頻道內出現。加油！

Thank you for sharing your journey across Sarawak. Sarawak is huge. Because of that, honestly, even many local Sarawakians are not familiar with each other cultures if they are from different part. Most know general knowledge but some dont even know things like like what tribe is majority in certain area, they are cluless. People who knowledgeable about this are those who have travelled, move to or from other parts, have relatives in other parts and those who are genuinely interested in the demographics of the state. I am not criticizing those who dont know, maybe they dont even have a chance to travel or even meet people who come from faraway region. I just want to highlight how culturally diverse and geographically widespread this land is. For example, local Kuchingnites, if whole family from Kuching or South Sarawak, would not know about what is happening in North. Last time, not many Orang Ulu (originate from North Sarawak) in Kuching. If they do not meet these people, they would not know the culture. Nowadays its slowly changing. More people from rural areas all over Sarawak are moving to Kuching area and local Kuching will meet them. Aside from that internet is here bridge the knowledge gap. Those who are too comfortable might not want to 'ambil tahu' and choose to remain ignorant. As a local from Kuching, i see that a lot. i do not blame them entirely, it might not even cross their mind. However, as a Sarawak that boasts about harmony and diversity, my hope is for the citizens to know about this. Tak kenal maka tak cinta. First step: to know and to understand. Then they can say truly say they care about Sarawak

一個冷知識，每張身份證都有代表不同國籍的字母代表比如k字代表砂勞動越，H代表沙巴，馬來亞之前是有A代表不過現在取消了。

我认识的Lumbawang人皮肤很白，学历高，英文讲很好，都是专业人士。东马的土族因为大多是基督徒的关系他们比较喜欢与其他民族和平共处。

@@chaisoungwan6745sape is originally from Kenyah tribe and eventually spread out to other Orang Ulu tribes especially Kayan and to a smaller extent Kelabit and other groups. Iban has their own lute which sounds similar to Sape but definitely the design of paint and carving is not the same. The common motive (curly swirls pattern) we see on Sape nowadays is Orang Ulu motive. The Iban Lute is very rare or maybe even extinct as it was not a culture that was widely practiced practiced, unlike how the Sape is for the Kenyah, Kayan and their closely related tribes (other orang ulu). The Lun Bawang Tapi is also a lute by the way. There are many lutes in Borneo and South East Asia. Look it up if you are interested. I am an orang ulu, not kenyah, but i know a lot of information about sape. I also know for a fact that it was not played by Ibans (in a traditional sense) especially in modern time, post-Malahsia. Maybe we only see very few older Iban sape players who played starting 20-40 years ago, like Jerry Kamit. Even then and now, the only dance that Sape music accompanies is Orang Ulu dance. Nowadays that Sape gaining traction, we see more Sape players from various ethnic backgrounds. I think that is cool Regarding the existance Iban having their own lute, i was told by an Iban person about it. I was surprised myself because I did not know Iban people played something similar to Sape. It is unknown if there are any plans to revitalize it but it will surely be interesting. I am certain the tunes will not be similar to popular sape tunes (those are mostly Kenyah folk songs) Currently the signature music for Iban is taboh. That is already very unique and has different rhythm compared to other music that uses gongs as main instruments

Currently a road is being built to connect Limbang and Lawas to other part of Sarawak by going around Brunei. It was very difficult before. Logging road and very rough terrain as it goes through the highlands. I am unsure if the final product will still require 4WD cars or is it friendlier. Read up on Sarawak Sabah Link Road project. If i understand correctly, certain phases of the project will be open to public soon
